OMG that's only about $900.00 of the $3300.00 invested!! or a bit less than 25%!. When I talked to the second representative, she said they couldn't do it because the Grow Up Plan was a legal document and couldn't be broached.!! My complaint is that if I get a payout from them, it would amount to $614.00 out of $1920.00 invested and $294.00 out of $1440.00 invested. When I talked to Gerber and asked if I could transfer what I have invested to a College Plan (About $1920.00 for the 9 year old and $1440.00 for the 6 year old equaling about $3300.00, they said it wasn't possible because I was too old (had to be under 60 years of age). ![]() It was due to my ignorance in signing up for the Grow Up Plan in not understanding it. I was under the impression that this was a plan for saving for college, but indeed, it is a life insurance plan for the children. I have had a "Grow Up Plan " with Gerber Life Insurance for my 2 grandsons from 20. ![]()
